How to use:

  1. Individually: Students work independently to match picture cards, text cards and labels (indirect aim: silent reading, reading comprehension)

  2. Small group: 2-3 students take turn reading one clue at a time while the others use use the clues to identify the matching picture cards (indirect aim: reading aloud, oral language, listening skills, logical thinking, comprehension)

  3. With Sorting Questions (single category): Students choose one question and matching answers and sort the cards according to the different answers.

  4. With Sorting Questions (all questions): Students choose one picture card and match it to all categories. When finished, a description of the chosen plant can be derived from the characteristics identified.
